More Information

For best results, replace the litter tray every 20 - 30 days for one cat, every 10 - 15 days for 2 cats, or every 7 - 10 days for 3 cats.

You might need to replace the litter tray more often if you have senior cats, kittens, or cats who eat a diet high in crude fiber, ash, and byproducts.

ScoopFree litter trays can be used by themselves as portable, disposable litter boxes. Scoop the waste under the waste trap flap or replace the tray when needed. Mix the litter daily to reduce odors.

    Will my cat like the ScoopFree Self-Cleaning Litter Box?

    Most cats adapt easily to ScoopFree boxes and use it within a week. If your cat needs help adjusting, try these tips:

    • Leave your cat's old litter box next to the ScoopFree box.
    • Add a few handfuls of your cat’s old litter to the ScoopFree litter tray and add a few handfuls of the ScoopFree crystal litter in your cat's old litter box.
    • Stop cleaning the old litter box. As the old litter becomes more shallow and dirty, your cat should start using the cleaner ScoopFree box.
    • If your cat is startled by the raking noise, turn off the ScoopFree box and scoop waste manually for a few days until your cat is used to the new box.

    If you have a kitten under 6 months old, we recommend leaving the box unplugged and scooping waste manually. You can start getting her used to using the litter box with these tips.

    • Kittens have a natural reflex to use the bathroom after eating, playing, or napping. Put your kitten in the litter box after these activities to help her associate the litter tray with the instinct.
    • Place the litter box away from the food and water bowl. Cats prefer not to use the bathroom near where they eat and drink.
    • Put the litter box in a quiet, visible place where she can get to it quickly. Getting all the way across the house to find the litter box could result in accidents. The location should also be safe and quiet so your kitten won't be startled or distracted.
    • Keep the box clean. Scoop waste often and change the litter tray every few weeks. Cats and kittens prefer a clean box.
    • Stir the litter crystals once a week to distribute saturated crystals. Kittens pee more often than adult cats, so the litter box will get dirty more quickly.

    We know that high-quality pet care equipment is heavy and we do not want shipping costs to be an issue when you buy from us. That’s why on most orders over $99, shipping is 100% free!
    Please note that in some specific situations, unfortunately, we cannot offer free shipping. These include:
    • International orders
    • Orders shipped outside the contiguous United States
    • Some brands such as TK, Rhino and Owens have a higher minimum order amount to qualify for free shipping (their items are much larger and heavier than typical orders)
    • Very large items (e.g., kennel fences) that must be shipped via large industrial freight trucks, when shipped to a non-commercial address or an address with limited access. (On these we still cover the shipping costs, while the customer pays the freight company’s additional delivery fee – usually $70 to $80 on most orders)

    Item Availability

    While we almost always have the most up-to-date inventory information, there are rare occasions in which an item may be unavailable or on back-order. If the item is unavailable, we'll let you know and give you the option of receiving a refund or ordering a similar item. If the item is on back-order, we will contact you directly and provide you with an updated shipment date. From there you may either choose to cancel the order or continue with the updated shipment date. Certain made-to-order items may have a longer than normal lead time. If this is the case, the lead time will be specified on the product page.

    Delivery Estimates

    For standard orders we normally ship within 1 to 3 business days and you can expect to receive your goods in 3 to 10 business days total. Please allow 1 to 3 weeks if your order is large and must be shipped by LTL freight truck (as opposed to standard carriers such as Fedex or UPS). For custom orders that require fabrication by our manufacturers, please allow 2 to 4 weeks for fabrication and shipping. Please note that some items may either be on back order with our manufacturer or require more weeks for fabrication and lead times may be longer than 4-6 weeks (especially larger metal items) - these will typically be flagged on our product pages for that product if that is the case. If you are not sure about shipping times for your product or require a rush order, please contact us and our team will check with the manufacturer to confirm shipping time for your specific product or variant.     Shipping Confirmation

    We ship from warehouses all across the country, depending on the item(s) ordered and your location. Depending on the physical size of your order, items will ship either by freight or a regular parcel carrier such as USPS, Fed Ex, or UPS.


    LTL FREIGHT SHIPPING INFORMATION

    LTL (less-than-truckload) Freight is used when shipments are 120 lb+ or for oversized equipment, which results in a truck with a large container delivering your order. Our freight carrier will contact you once your order makes it to the distribution center closest to the delivery address specified, and set up an appointment time for delivery.

    Pet Pro Supply Co. Free LTL Freight Shipping - Curbside Delivery

    Our standard Free Freight Shipping option for LTL deliveries is curbside, which is to a delivery to a Commercial Address and does not include a liftgate. If your order is to be shipped freight, you will have the option to specify whether the item will be delivered to a Residential, Limited Access, or Commercial address. If there is no option to select a shipping location, then this cost is already included in the price.

    We strongly recommend adding the optional Liftgate for all deliveries to locations without a loading dock or forklift.

    Freight Delivery Locations

    This option specifies whether the delivery location is a Commercial, Residential, Residential Business, or a Limited Access address.

    • Commercial - These addresses are those defined by our freight carriers and/or zoned by local municipalities as commercial sites. Typically these addresses are zoned as commercial real estate or are used exclusively for business. Most commercial sites have tractor-trailer access and a loading dock.
    • Residential - If the address used a residence, select this option. This includes Apartment/Condo complexes and dormitories.
    • Residential Business - Any business being operated from a home, apartment, or other dwelling where people live on the premises is considered to be a Residential Business.
    • Limited Access - Locations where deliveries are restricted, limited, or very far from a distribution center. Examples Include:
      • Place of Worship
      • Restricted Areas - Secure Research Facilities, Military Bases/Installations, Correctional Facilities, Government Buildings
      • Farms, Ranches, and Rural Areas
      • Recreational Areas - Camps, Parks, Fairs, Carnivals, etc.
      • Individual Storage Units
      • Sites - Convention Centers, Construction Sites, Mines
      • Schools and Universities
      • Commercial establishments not open to the walk-in public during normal business hours

    Freight Liftgate

    A liftgate is a hydraulic lift that is attached to the back of a truck that can lower freight to ground level. Freight carriers prevent their drivers from assisting with the unloading of heavy equipment other than using a liftgate to ground level. We highly recommend any delivery address without a loading dock, select this option.

    However, please know that for certain very long items, such as Kennels over 6' in length, a Liftgate will not be able to bring the entire order down to ground level. Please have the necessary manpower available to receive your items with limited delay to the driver.
